Benjamin Buser has been with econcept since 2018. Prior to that, he was a project manager at a large international planning and consulting firm. At econcept, he heads the location development and economics division as well as the social science topics. His work focuses on strategic location and spatial development, regional economics with its issues of regional growth and innovation promotion, and sustainability assessments. He advises the public sector and infrastructure operators on strategy, organisation and financing. Using static analyses and modelling (e.g. input-output models), he provides a basis for decision-making and supports process design and moderation. As a lecturer in regional economics at ETH Zurich, he passionately passes on his experience to young people. Benjamin Buser likes dynamics and momentum in his projects as much as he likes telemark skiing.
